Make your bouquet last longer
There’s something really special about receiving flowers on Mother’s Day — and with a little care, they can be enjoyed well beyond the weekend 💐
Whether you’ve chosen a native bouquet or a seasonal mix, here’s how to get the most out of your flowers

💐 First Things First
When you get your bouquet home:
Trim the stems slightly on an angle
Place them straight into clean, fresh water
Add the flower food provided
Keep them in a cool spot, away from direct sunlight and heat
This helps your flowers drink properly and stay fresh for longer.
🌼 Ongoing Care
To keep your bouquet looking its best:
Refresh the water every 2–3 days
Re-trim the stems slightly when you change the water
Remove any leaves sitting below the water line
Keep away from heaters, direct sun, and drafts
Small steps make a big difference in how long they last.
🌸 When Seasonal Flowers Start to Wilt
Seasonal flowers are beautiful, but they won’t last forever — and that’s okay 🤍
As softer blooms begin to wilt:
Gently remove them from the bouquet
Refresh your water and let the remaining flowers shine
🌿 Let Your Natives Dry Beautifully
The best part about native flowers is they don’t have to be thrown away.
Once your fresh flowers have finished:
Remove the remaining native stems
Place them in a dry vase or pot (no water)
Keep them in a cool, dry room
Over time, they will naturally dry and create a long-lasting arrangement you can keep for weeks or even months.
🎀 Little Ways to Reduce Waste
We’ve designed everything to be reused or repurposed:
Use the bouquet wrap to wrap a gift or keepsake
Tie the ribbon around your vase for a soft, finished look
Reuse the wrap for gift wrapping, scrapbooking, or drawer lining
Use leftover ties and ribbon for gift wrapping or to tie flowers later
Keep dried natives as home decor or table styling
Add dried stems to a memory box or sentimental keepsake
Put your wilted flowers in the green bin
